  Always reliable. Very reasonably priced with very generous helpings. Serving rockmelon with the salad makes me love it a little more every time. Nice country pub atmosphere. Seating out the back, on the deck, inside, by the bar or out the front all offer distinct atmospheres and dining experiences. Despite being busy they still manage to get it out to you very quickly. Isn't going to win any prizes for food quality but for a big parmy, a XXXX and throwing borderline racist chants at New South Welshmen on Origin night there's nowhere better.

  If you are looking for a country wife, the meringandan pub isa great place to start. You can drop in with the boys after work for a coldie in the high vis or if you're an aviator from Oakey it's a great spot to find the future Mrs. Aviator. The food portions are massive. Service is always good and the price is great. You can even treat yourself to a frozen Lemonade.
